Susan has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services field including 8 years as an associate with Deloitte and Touche, LLP. Susan began her career with The Shawmut Bank Corporation in their commercial lending program eventually rising to the level where she was responsible for a large client base of high net worth individuals in her role as a Personal Private Banker. During her time at Deloitte and Touche, LLP, Susan developed a level of expertise in the areas of tax matters affecting high net worth individuals, partnerships and small to mid-size corporations eventually rising to the level of manager before the founding of Flaherty & Company. Susan received her BA in Economics from Boston College and an MBA with an Accounting Specialization from Northeastern University.
Doris has been a member of the Flaherty & Company team since 2003. She is dedicated to helping our clients achieve personal and business success by creating opportunities to deliver value added services and she is involved in all aspects of the client experience from the initial engagement process to the preparation and review of tax returns and accounting services. Doris received her BA in Accounting from Merrimack and is an Enrolled Agent practicing before the Internal Revenue Service. She also has been recognized as a Tax Consultant by the National Tax Training Institute.
Michael oversees the continued development of daily operations and practice management. Michael is also a principal in The Compass Management Group, LLC, a business consulting firm specializing in executive advisement. Prior to his role at Flaherty & Company, Michael held roles as the Chief Operating Officer for the Greater Nashua Mental Health Center, the Executive Director of Wingate at Andover, Director of Budgeting and Planning for McLean Hospital and as a Senior Financial Consultant for the Genesis Healthcare Corporation. Michael received his BA in Speech Communications from Boston College, an MBA and an MHA from Suffolk University and a Graduate Certificate in Comparative Public Health Policy from the Institute of Public Administration at Trinity University in Dublin, Ireland.
Vicki does just about everything in the office except practice accounting. She answers the phone, schedules appointments and generally keeps the office running smoothly. Vicki has been a member of the Flaherty & Company team since 2011.
